Ever since freshman year of high school, Courtney DeRose was intrigued by photography. Her grandfather passed down his old Nikon to her and the intrigue kicked in. She learned quickly that she loved cameras and catching the moments not many people see. She loved messing around in Photoshop in her first photography class. She’s never been able to stop creating. Her dedication to the photography field has been unwavering for 7 years. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visuals, Courtney's photography invites viewers into a world seen uniquely through her lens. She specializes in both digital and film photography and blends one medium into another. She has been interested recently in presentation with textiles and bringing her photography into a physical sense beyond the standard prints. She has immense commitment to her craft and she’s ready to share it with anyone. She is just graduated in May 2025 from VCUArts with a BFA in Photography.

She is currently based in Richmond, VA and Northern VA and available for projects in the area and nationally.
